The Hublot Replica brand ambassador and one of the greatest tennis players in history will now wear a court-ready version of the Big Bang model with a tourbillon and a special composite case on his wrist.

For years, a fierce debate has raged in the tennis world over who the greatest player of all time is. Fans are divided into three camps. Some extol Roger Federer, others adore the talent and unique personality of Rafa Nadal, and still others are captivated by the talent, consistency, and charisma of Novak Djokovic. Unfortunately, the first two gentlemen have already retired, leaving only the Serb to break tennis records and actively work towards the title of greatest. Hublot has already chosen its camp, as Novak Djokovic has been a brand ambassador for several years. Located in Nyon, near Geneva, the manufacturer seems to have no doubts about who is the best of the best, as it has quite tellingly nicknamed its latest project – dedicated to Djokovic – GOAT, or “Greatest of All Time.”

The model, unveiled during LVMH Watch Week, meets all the requirements of a watch that is not only associated with tennis (and Djokovic) but also allows for on-court wear. The entire watch is extremely lightweight (56g), comes with a comfortable Velcro strap, and is constructed from damage-resistant materials. For the 44mm case, Hublot used a composite material made from used Lacoste polo shirts and Head tennis rackets. The composite is reinforced with a core of Titaplast polymer – according to Hublot, the strongest material of its kind in the world, with mechanical properties similar to titanium.

The finished case has a distinctive, marbled texture with a slightly crystalline, glass-like finish and is available in one of three colors: blue, orange, or green. Each represents a different tennis court surface, ranging from hard, chalky, and grass, respectively.

The cases are attached to a white leather strap with Velcro closure and a finish resembling the grip wrap of a tennis racket. Each strap is lined in the same color as the case. A rubber strap is also included.

Another tennis-themed reference in the Big Bang Tourbillon Novak Djokovic GOAT Edition watch is the bezel and strap screws, whose shape resembles a tennis ball. A seemingly small, insignificant detail, it nonetheless demonstrates the attention to detail in the design.
