Introduction
2026 is the year of the Luminor, and it’s a return to Panerai Replica roots. Aside from the Radiomir Viaggio nel Tempo Experience special series presented in February, Panerai has refocused its offering on hand-wound Luminor models, inspired by the legendary 6152/1 movement. This year, however, has also seen the most innovative chapter, which features two significant technical innovations.
The first is still a Luminor, in Forged Titanium; the second is a Submersible, using a material with a high percentage of hafnium. Finally, a complicated haute horlogerie model, also in a Luminor case, capable of running for 31 days, has been added.
We introduce them in this article, leaving the details of each product family or reference to the in-depth articles.

Luminor PAM01731 and Luminor Destro PAM01732
The return to the brand we love isn’t just about the use of hand-wound movements, but also refocuses on simplicity and consistency; Starting with the names: short and concise.
The product combines the case geometry formerly known as the “Luminor 1950” with a 44mm case, aligning itself with what has already been seen on the self-winding models but with an overall superior level of care, synonymous with a new direction in product development.
The standard model features a tobacco sandwich dial, a familiar color among Panerai’s many years, and the P.6000 caliber with a three-day power reserve.
Similarly, Panerai presents a left-handed version that features exactly the same caliber, without the small seconds, and a splendid fine-grained midnight blue dial, clearly visible in our photos. The most authentic Luminor is back, and it is very balanced in its proportions and authenticity.
They are likely a bit small on wrists over 17-18 mm in circumference, an effect that is enhanced by the transitional case from Radiomir to Luminor.
